#2 Vodafone
Vodafone is a British multinational telecommunications company and operates networks in over 30 countries and partner networks in more than 40 additional countries. With 389.88 million connections, the Vodafone group comes in second place. The company’s revenue is $13.92 billion.

#3 América Móvil
América Móvil group is owned by Mexico’s richest man Carlos Slim. The company has 251.83 million connections and generates revenue of $7.98 billion. It is headquartered in Mexico City and its subsidiary Telcel is the largest mobile operator in Mexico.

#4 Airtel
Airtel is India’s first mobile operator and ranks forth in the world. Sunil Mittal own Airtel and is headquartered in New Delhi. The company operates in 20 countries across South Asia, Africa and the Channel Islands and commands 250.04 million connections and generates revenue of $3.04 billion. The company is also the first to achieve Cisco Gold Certification.

Telefónica is the Spanish mobile operator. The Telefónica group has 243.51 million connections and generates revenue of $11.40 billion. The company also has operations in Europe, the USA and Latin America and is the former public monopoly of telecommunications in Spain.
